Permanent Eyeliner After Care
This is where you shine.
Follow these steps for the best healed result!
- •Follow a dry healing routine: No ointment, no products, no water, no sweat, and no moisture on the eyes for one full week.
- •When cleansing your face, use a washcloth carefully and avoid the eyeliner area completely. Do not allow water, cleanser, or facial products touch the eyeliner tattoo while it heals.
- •Some swelling is normal and may be more noticeable in the morning on Day 2 of healing and usually improves by Day 3.
- •Do not touch, pick, rub, or create friction on the eyelids Treat the area like an open wound so it can heal properly.
- •AVOID anything touching your eyeliner
- •No picking or scratching.
- •No sunscreen, skincare, or makeup around the eyes.
- •No steam baths, hot steamy showers, or saunas.
- •No working out or activities that cause increased sweating.
- •No direct sun exposure.
- •Avoid bright indirect sunlight light when possible.
- •Wear a hat and sunglass whenever outdoors.
- •Lash extensions can be reapplied two weeks after the touchup appointment.
- •Your eyeliner color will soften and lighten as it heals—this is completely normal.
