Cosmetic Tattoos are right for most people, but it can be unadvised in rare cases. Many conditions do not exclude you from cosmetic tattoos but they do require special considerations.
If you identify with any of the following conditions, please put it in your appointment notes so we can create the best outcome for your unique needs!
- Keloid scaring
- Hormone Therapy for any reason including egg retrieval
- Severe active acne
- psoriasis or dandruff in the treatment area
- Cold sores
- Autoimmune disorders
- Allergies to anesthetics, epinephrine, soy, latex, nitrile, nickel
- Allergies to skincare products
- Previous PMU
- Prescription medications
- Chinese medicine or herbs
- Hair growth serums including lash serum
- HIV, AIDS, HepB
- Reduced immunity for any reason
- Long-term retinol use
- Long-term lash serum use
If you identify with any of the following, Cosmetic tattoos are ALWAYS inadvisable. Your appointment will be cancelled without refund if you are any of the following:
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding
- Actively in chemo therapy
- Have uncontrolled diabetes
- Have used any steroid medications orally or topically in the treatment area within 4 weeks of the session
For best results, avoid scheduling tattoo sessions to occur during menstruation.
